- There are no rules
There are no rules
In the world where we live, as you can see,
It's filled with rules, like a busy bee.
Told when to walk and when to race,
In this big, wide, societal space.
But, oh my friend, let me share the news,
In the spaces unseen, there's an unbridled muse.
A yearning for a world that's free,
Where the only sound is pure glee.
We dress in black, we dress in white,
Marching in step from day to night.
Our words, our deeds, they seem to follow,
A rhythm so rigid, so thoroughly hollow.
Yet, deep in the mind, there's a tiny seed,
A dream of a world where we're freed,
From the chains of the known,
Where our true colors can be shown.
The stars above, they don't walk a line,
They twirl and dance, oh so divine.
The rivers, they don't know a route,
They twist and turn, without dispute.
Look at the birds, soaring so high,
With no need of a map in the sky,
The flowers bloom, oh so many hues,
In Mother Nature's lap, there are no rules.
So, why do we humans, in all our fright,
Tighten our own chains so tight?
Life's not a game that we can lose,
In the end, my dear, there are no rules.
The straight truth of the matter is that if you want to be on the edge you have to learn how to make the output yourself. In today’s world, when working with software that means learning how to interact as a developer would. So many of the tool sets today are fragmented. The only way to really piece things together is to be a developer, read the developer docs, write and use your own code, and interact with APIs yourself. Otherwise, you’ll go on waiting for someone else to productize a worse version of what you actually want to do.

lil guy learning about the rules that don’t exist
This is pretty cool though.
